Alana De La Garza has made a name for herself in television. De La Garza born 1976 to her Irish mother as well as an Irish mother and a Mexican father in Columbus Ohio. Within a short time, she moved to Texas to pursue her physical therapy degree at University of Texas. De La Garza stayed in Texas for a brief period before moving into Orlando Florida. She took part in many different kinds of roles in acting, such as commercials and local independent movies. The small parts didn't stop her from discovering that she loved acting. She relocated to New York. Her first gig was in the soap-opera All My Children. Through the early part of 2000, she acted small roles in JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. She landed her major role in 2004 on the brief film The Mountain. De La Garza, who was Maria Serrano on The Mountain was lucky to be able to appear alongside a number of the top TV actors, such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pilegget and Mitch. In 2006 she was the lead character A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared in 85 episode. Then she joined the short-lived spin-off Law & Order: LA. De La Garza's character received several nominations for the show, including Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She was also awarded ALMA Award nods. The National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded her the Impact Award, which is given for outstanding performances in a drama TV show. De La Garza was then chosen as a recurring character on CSI Miami. She played Marisol Delko's wife and the character of David Caruso Horatio Caine. She played the character Dr. Lena Solis, she was most recently seen on the NBC's dark and tense drama Do No Harm. Alyssa Milano was cancelled by NBC following only two episodes. Milano. The mother of the child is an Italian father, as well as one sister Cory whom is 10 year younger than her. Milano was born into an extremely religious and conservative family.
